Elyn turned 1

 Well my baby turned 1 right after we moved to Florida. We had some friends from church over for back-up singing and at home-made Cafe Rio.

 Elyn is such a busy baby. She is very different from my other kids. She shows her frustration much earlier than my other kids did. She walked at 10 months, the same as Alexa. She nods yes and shakes her head no for the right things. She says All done, That, mama and dada.  She has a specific cry for when she wants a drink, and if I get her the wrong drink, she throws her cup across the room. She has her 4 teeth on top and the 4 on bottom and all of her Molars are already coming in. Two have poked through. At her 1 year appt, our new pediatrician was very surprised and how many teeth she had and the fact that she still weighs under 20 pounds. Definitely my littlest baby. In her defense, she hasn't been eating much these last couple of weeks with her molars coming in. She has crossed the 20 pound mark.

 So here are pictures of Rook and Alexa at the same age. Who does she look like? I'm amazed looking back at these pictures at how different Rook and Alexa actually look. So fair, long face, no hair, thin eyes and round face, dark complexion, huge black eyes, tons of hair...

Elyn! We love you and are so glad you came to our family. We just weren't complete without you. You love to dance and play with whatever your brother and sister are playing with. You already tell me when you need a diaper change and you bring me the diaper and wipes. You LOVE corn on the cob, chocolate milk, yogurt, cheese, bread and rice.
